Mini Size
I got both the mini & regular and throughout my traveling I’ve learned I prefer the mini. It can hold a slim portable charger, a cord, and your phone in the main zipper pocket. IDs/Cards fit easily in the front zipper pocket. The small back zipper isn’t really wide enough to put much of anything back there. I would wear it on either shoulder but I always pushed the bag to the back. It’s easy to adjust and I appreciate the loop that holds the excess in place.

Can someone snatch it or open it?

It sits close to your body where you can see it, the zippers clip shut with a metal carabiner, and the strap is slash-resistant. No bag is theft-proof, but this one makes you a much harder target than a handbag on your shoulder.
